Mission Reporting

At the end of each data acquisition mission you must minimally report on (and beyond content usually saved to EXIF header in image files) the following:

  1. Type of geo-referencing (trigger events from standalone GNSS navigation solution or camera alignment with use of ground control points or linear interpolation of exposure events); definition of local datum and coordinate system relative to WGS84 or ITRF with given epoch.
  2. A short description of the equipment used.
  3. Source and authority of coordinates for GNSS base station or reference to positioning service used in precise positioning of camera exposure events. Note that all raw carrier phase data used in the computation of exposure event coordinates must be delivered together with the imagery. The identity of any third-party service provider or on-line service must be included in the report.
  4. Any environmental conditions during the campaign that may have had an effect on the quality of the deliverables.
  5. In the case of incident submit an incident report to PLACE.
